Miami Medical Malpractice Lawyer - Daniel Riveiro Jr.
As a Tampa native, Mr. Riveiro attended both public and parochial
schools before obtaining a scholarship to Jesuit High School.
The eldest son of recently retired Jefferson High School Principal,
Dan Riveiro Sr, and Elena Riveiro (Bazarte), Mr. Riveiro worked
in the emergency department of St. Joseph Hospital while securing
a pre-medical Bachelors of Science in Biology degree from the
University of South Florida. Inspired by departed grandfather,
Rene Bazarte, Sr. and the death of an abused child he was unable
to resuscitate, Mr. Riveiro chose to pursue a legal career.
After obtaining his law degree from the University of Florida,
Mr. Riveiro began practice law in Orlando.
Mr. Riveiro began his career defending physicians, hospitals and other health care providers. The insight from his medical knowledge and hands-on clinical experience allowed Mr. Riveiro to excel and within only three years, he was offered a partnership by the law firm.
After five years of practicing insurance defense, Mr. Riveiro determined to serve victims wrongfully injured. Since 1997, Mr. Riveiro has limited his practice exclusively to representing personal injury victims. For five years, Mr. Riveiro gained valuable trial and litigation experience working first for a small plaintiff firm and then the largest one in Florida. Mr. Riveiro has extensive experience handling complicated cases and working with national reknowned experts.
He both prosecuted and defended cases to trial and has obtained individual recoveries, whether by verdict or settlement, in excess of $1 million dollars.
In December 2002, Mr. Riveiro returned to his roots in Tampa where he established his principal office. Along with his collegues and staff, Mr. Riveiro currently serves all of Florida with locations in Miami, Pensacola, St. Petersonberg, Clearwater, Orlando, Tampa, and Zephyrhills.
